Projecting Leave

Introduction

This page describes how a leave administrator or leave user can estimate an annual leave accrual as at a future date.

Note: The projected annual leave balance estimates the amount of leave that will
<ul><li>The employee’s leave balance as at the end of their most recent payroll</li><li>PLUS an estimated accrual from the end of an employee’s most recent payroll through to the projection date, based on the employee’s standard weekly hours and a 5 day working week</li><li>LESS hours against any approved leave applications which fall on or before the projection date</li></ul>

Projecting leave as an employee

To project leave:

  • Click the Leave/Expense tab
  • Click the Projected Leave
  • Select an employee from the list
  • Select the date on the calendar that you wish to Project To
  • The Projected Annual Leave Hours field will automatically update with an estimated annual leave accrual

Projecting leave as an authority

To project leave:

  • Click the Leave/Expense tab
  • Click the Projected Leave tab
  • Select an employee from the list
  • Select the date on the calendar that you wish to Project To
  • The Projected Annual Leave Hours field will automatically update with an estimated annual leave accrual
